How do these look?

I'm really inexperienced when it comes to identifying shrooms and I've only tripped a couple of times. A friend of mine just bought an 1/4 of an ounce of shrooms and today i took some pictures just to make sure what they were. They are dried.





The pics are pretty crappy, i know. ¿What kind of shrooms do they seem?

looks like dried porcini or chanterelles!
could definitely be just a random mushroom though, do not eat those.

if you bought those for psychedelic purposes, your shit out of luck.

comparing the size of the dried mushroom to the size of the average hand also in the pic, that mushroom when fresh was as big as a king bolete.

perhaps a large shaiitake

the 1st pic upper left conner, the gill to cap meat ratio says shaiitake, but this is no 100% id, just a guess.

I see no obvious signs of gills, period.

i see no gills, it looks like a porcini as cptn stated

look at the piece at the top of the first pic on the right, from the cross section you can see the cap and then the tubes just like porcini.

I say he at least ripped u off in style if they are indeed porcini, OP, since porcini are rare and sought-after.

yeah I dont see anything thats FOR SURE gills trigger, they look like a solid form with lines on it, which would be more akin to dried pores from a bolete.

They looked weird to me and that's why i posted them here. Im no troll, just a noob and didnt want to eat anything without knowing exactly what it was. Shrooms aren't so common where I live (Switzerland) so where kinda desperate to find them. They indeed look like the ones CptnGarden posted. I'll see if i can take some new pics, otherwise ill get a refund and get some acid.

magic mushrooms grow near you,
there is not much of swiss shrooms info around here, you should go find some actives! share the knowledge and there be a bit more shrooms for everyone in ur land.
