so i just drove on a suspended license to grab some weed

lets ignore the sheer stupidity and the "asking for it," factor of the title :lol:

i look down after driving not even a minute and notice my heat gauge is 100% maxed out bumping the little restrictor stick. i figured that since it [my integra] has sat idle pretty much for 6 months so the gauge was busted. i get to my friends house, get weed and leave. i woke him up ( :lol:

) so he kicked me out quick.

anyway when i start driving back i smell what is faintly maybe rubber burning. wasn't bad and i didn't spin my tires so i know it wasn't burned tire. i get home and i hear what sounds like a jet engine in the faint faint distance. i ignore it as i smoke my first bowl of the day.

i get out and realize my car is literally boiling hot, like i can hear more than one reservoir boiling.

damn though i was lucky to get home. i would have been fucked if she died on me in public.. driving on a suspended, posession of a pipe and a gram of shitty weed... sigh of relief baby, i'm not in jail.. i'm not in jail. lol i'm fuckin faded too, prob woulda caught another dui as well. i don't think i'm gonna drive again until i get my license back, that was a bad omen for sure.(this was the first time I drove since my DUI outside my neighborhood too)

yea... I didn't have a ride for over 6 hours, my dealer goes to work at 10am and I needed some weed. i drive like a saint too so I figured I would be fine.. I came damn close to breaking down. shit this has me wound up lol, I came soooo close to violating and all that jazz =\

See, the way I look at it, that was a good omen. Nothing happened to you, it DIDNT die in public, you DIDNT get arrested or anything, you DIDNT get a dui. Just some car troubles. Sure the car troubles may suck, but would you rather have some car troubles? Or would you rather get arrested for driving w/ a suspended license under the influence with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia?

i'm no mechanic and don't claim to be so I have no idea, I know that the fucker was hot hot hot. way hotter than it should have been for only being drove 15 minutes round trip.

I'm no mechanic either but i have always been a gear head since i was a little kid. Built my first engine when i was 14...With cars it is just a process if elimination to find out what the prob is...

More than likely this is what the prob is, or at least the first thing to consider since it would be such an easy fix.

The thermostat allows a car engine to warm up quicker by restricting the flow of water within the cooling system, as soon as the water temp hits a certain point the thermostat opens up and allows water to flow freely thus cooling the engine. Over time, or when cars sit sometimes the thermostat will become stuck closed so water can not circulate as freely therefor you engine overheats even though there is water in your radiator....

So first check to see if there is any water in the radiator or if there is a sufficient amount...If so then start the car and let it run for a little while and see how much it heats up just from sitting idle. If it does not overheat then try driving it around, if it is already warmed up it shouldn't take all that much driving to overheat the thing if in fact the thermostat is stuck closed....

Another problem could be a broken water pump or water pump belt, but more than likely the water pump belt would turn other things as well such as alternator, power steering, or a/c so those would be out also....

Just be careful, as always, taking it to a mechanic shop...They can get people for an arm & a leg for a part that's $20 or less...

my dad is a mechanic, i didn't mention that part did I? it's all gravy lol, I got weed and no charges. I now know not to trust my car if I ever decide to illegally motor somewhere

i think i'm gonna snort some 2cb here shortly.. damn, we're on the same frequency for sure! i decided I was gonna dose 2cb over an hour ago, weird coincidence we're both gonna trip..

2cb trip consists of this:

a) very intense, stunning OEVs (CEVs weren't so impressive IMO)
b) very intense and impressive body high. most body loads while tripping aren't pleasent to me (especially mushies and DMT)
c) little to no mind fuck. i rank mind fuck at a 1 of 10. MDMA confuses me much much more than 2cb put it that way.

all in all, my favorite psychedelic drug ever!

I think one time driving on a suspended license is damn good. I know there have been many times I was fighting myself so hard to not drive. I agree though, its kinda pathetic that for all the reasons in the world, I chose to drive to get weed.. hehe

It was the range of negligence that got me to think it really. (the combo of driving with a suspended license, not realizing the warning signs that your car is about to burst into flames, and then doing it all for a gram of shitty weed as well?).
