PNW morels!

Barely enough for a triscuit!  :grin:

These are metropolitan, actually about 5 feet from my front door!  There always seem to be a few that come up in the Puget Sound area a little early.  Looking forward to a couple of weeks from now when the mountains start producing! The stage is set for an explosion up here :mushroom2:

Just came from East/Central Washington, snows at about 2,500 feet.  I think the morels are still waiting though, the snow melted just recently and it JUST started warming.  I've never hunted out there, but I talked to the ranger at the Okanagon Forest Service office on my way through, and it sounds like its still early.

Apparently they're putting out a bulletin in a week or two about the burn sites that might produce.

I'm getting pretty antsy though, I'll be in those mountains when the season kicks off!
