bringing someone else into the bedroom..
    #10085937 -

this is an idea my girlfriend and i have been playfully kicking around lately.  i think it's something the both of us have been curious about, but the more i think about it, the more i start to seriously consider it... and i'm just wondering if anybody else has done this and what the reality of it really is.

my girlfriend and i are both really open minded sexually (and in other ways too), i'm not really worried about jealous feelings arising for either us.

but... how do you even approach somebody with this offer?  i guess we'd have to search online for somebody...

i've never had one night stands with strangers before and i don't really want to have that type of experience... i'd like to get to know the person a bit first and build up some level of trust, because i'm pretty paranoid about STDs... and i have to wonder about the sort of people that would actually be up for something like this.  is there any hope of finding a respectful and mellow down to earth individual... or will they all be shady sex fiends?

:3some:

lol... no, it's not like that.

both of us are content with each other, we are just curious and looking for an exciting new experience.

hah, well it seems like it'd be difficult to approach somebody with that kind of offer and not come off as being completely creepy.  i guess you just have to be lucky enough to stumble upon the right kind of person.

have you given any thought to how it might affect your relationship?

yeah, i've thought about that..

i'm sure if i made a post, 99% of the responses would be disturbing.

however, i suppose it's possible to stumble across a decent individual... if i'm willing to post there, i think it's safe to assume there might be at least a few like-minded people browsing and possibly responding.

plus going online would expose us to a much broader spectrum of people and gives us the option of being more selective.. and we'd have the chance to send some emails back and forth to get a better idea of what the person is all about before we meet up.

even still i'd like to hang out a few times before we jumped into anything sexual.

Call me close-minded, conservative and old-fashioned, but I'd be uncomfortable with another guy fucking my gf.

Then there's the issue of what you're supposed to do while he's doing it.  Are you supposed to lick his ass or what?

As far as who to choose....if you are having problems finding another guy to bang your gf, then that should say something about her (in addition to the fact your gf wants it from someone else in addition to you).

i never mentioned that this somebody i could possibly be bringing into the bedroom was a male..

perhaps some subconscious desires are seeping through?

:shoosh:

but, i'll leave you to your thoughts of licking ass.

a gal..

i think she's more open to the idea of another girl.

but, to be honest, i'm also curious about what it's like to be with a guy.  men occasionally make their way into some of my more kinky sexual fantasies, but i'm not sure if it's actually something i'd pursue in real life.

I'd be fine bringing in another girl into my relationship, but I couldn't see myself ever doing the same with a guy.  My sexual fantasies sometimes involve guys, I'll admit, but the jealousy and worry that my girl would prefer another man to me would prevent me from ever letting it happen.

And yes, I'm aware this is completely hypocritical and a double standard.  Sue me.

Yeah man wtf??

A girls got more than one hole. If another guy's doing the primary deed, you go for the mouth, and give your friend a high five.

EIFFEL TOWER!

Craigslist.

This website is the BIGGEST waste of time if you're trying for a threesome. Every girl on it who wants a threesome wants another girl for her and her boyfriend.

they have a term on craigslist for a single woman who is open for a threesome with a couple: The Unicorn. Because they don't exist.

However, your girlfriend would probably be better off meeting someone in real life anyways. Thought about trying swingers groups? A lot of times they'll have what's called a "soft swap" which is where the women play with each other but the men stick with their respective women, a good idea if you're not hung up on seeing dicks in the bedroom. Also, plenty of single women join swinger groups just to get in on the action, most allow this and turn away single men, so you know the ratio will probably be good. Swinger groups seem to be primarily female-ran...

Also, don't write off the idea of someone you may already know. You'd be surprised. I sure was when my GF brought one of our co-workers home, especially since they'd planned everything and told me nothing about it

Keep trying. It's a long process, but the fruits are worth the efforts, for everyone involved. My GF always gets this supernaturally good mood after a threesome, it lasts for weeks. You're gonna love that part, especially if you live together...

interesting... :strokebeard:

nice to hear from someone with experience.

how would one go about finding a local swinger group?

i could see how this sort of experience would elevate the mood (among other things)... relationships tend to stagnate and i suppose that could be because they become less and less exciting overtime and more and more predictable.

and i think the both of us are at a point in our relationship where we could do something like this and be ok... maybe even feel closer with each other afterward, because it'd be something that we went into together just for fun.  a gift from us to us.  we already have each other for our other needs and they are well satisfied.

we all have desires and urges to be with other people sexually even while we are in committed relationships.  this is an interesting approach to addressing that urge honestly.  no need to lie and hide the feeling, or go off and cheat.  everything is out in the open and i think there is some beauty in that.

Yeah, I think some of your subconscious desires are seeping through.

A lot of these posts start with the same bullshit: "I'm so open minded and free, my gf and I are so understanding, we are so trusting and I am so secure blah blah blah".  But when the idea of another guy comes in its usually immediately dismissed.  So much for open mindedness.

well... my desires aren't subconscious since i'm aware of them and admit to them openly.

are there really that many posts about individuals potentially seeking out a threesome?

i admit i'm more open to the idea of being with 2 women... but i definitely didn't immediately dismiss the idea of being with a man and a woman.  i'm open to that as well... but it just seems like a leap into sexual experimentation whereas being with 2 girls would just be a hop.  a lot of it depends on how my girlfriend feels about it all too... and what the willing individual is like.

your best bet is probably to find another couple, and bring a guy and a girl into the equation. unless you know a cool chick already, you're not going to find one that just wants to wander into a 3some with strangers...lol.
