Nah, thats not normal at all.  My community college was very professional, that shit wouldnt fly for a second.  In my experience, the better teachers are at community colleges.

Im really dissapointed with the teacher. She should have stepped in and kicked both of them out immideatly! Or at least called someone to help her get the fucking class under control.

And OP are you the loud ass girl causing all that drama? What a fucking attention whore :2cents: It went way pass the point of defending yourself, and into a full blown ego trip out to make yourself look "cool" :stoned:

Better teachers?  Yea, in general (sure there are exceptions).  Of course the better researchers/mentors are at the university.

edit - (then again, I have to remember the CC system here is one of the best in the country.  The ones I took classes with and worked for are among the best, and often get paid even more than their university counterparts.  So, maybe in NY they do suck)

If this is a true representation of youth in America today we are pretty well fucked. No offense to all the smart young people I have interacted with on the boards. The majority of you actually do have good heads on your shoulders. If you have friends like this though, seriously slap the shit out of them. I'm tempted to sign up for a CC class just to see what it's like these days.
