I dont, but I friend of mine does, he's a mid-30's alcoholic who has been in college forever and works part-time at a gym.

no my family didnt have shit to give me. especially not a trust fund.

when my grandma and one of my uncles die, i should get a good sum of money though.

my parents are paying for my undergraduate studies which is real nice, but after that i'm on my own

Not really.

My parents began a "college fund" when I was born.  I received scholarships so my "college fund" turned into an "investment" when I finished. 

It was about 40k 2-3 years ago and is worth about half that now.  The irony is that I did so well in school I've never needed to touch it.
