Anyone play disc golf?

I well.. I played it a bit a year or 2 ago, but didn't really get into it. Lately though I've picked it up more seriously and I'm loving it. Very.. laid back sport, easy to pick up and play with yourself or others, and pretty cheap. Most the people that play it seem to be very cool too. Lots of hippies and stoners and shit, though by no means the majority. I've already, unfortunately lost 4 discs, but that's beside the point lol. Oh, and there's like... 5+ courses right around where I live!

disc golf fuckin rules! what other game can you play no matter how stoned and out of shape you might be? i haven't played in a couple of years, but i'd love to get back into it.

man, the first time I played, and I'm a rather healthy guy too, I definitely look healthy, I was a bit winded after walking the course actually lol.

It's not physically exhausting at all, but it will get you in shape. Not like other sports will, but good enough to I dunno.. keep up with any average person at the very least. And it's very psychologically healthy. Always people to talk to, it's outside, and it's so chill and amazing :smile:

disc golf is pretty fun, I suck at it but it's still a blast to go out there with friends and smoke while throwing frisbees!

My good friend used to have a BUZZBY........it had a hitter right in the middle of the frisbee ,like a zepplin hitter with the screw on top,the lift under the frisbee would keep it lit and you just tossed it back and forth taking hits.

yeah, those buzzbies have gotten pretty popular. you can pass the bowl all the way across the field. pretty cool shit. :thumbup:

You should get the innova Monarch driver!! I've played frolf (frisbee golf) for 4 years now and gone through many discs. So far this one i've found to be the most stable and one of the fastest drivers out there right now.

I'm more of a lawn jarts guy myself.  I have a set of REAL jarts that are prolly 20 years old and still use them all the time.  I guess they got outlawed cause kids were gettin hit in the face and getting broken teeth, now they make these gay all plastic ones that weigh as much as a paper plate :stonedjerk:

The only ones I have seen are vintage early 70s and they go from about 275 to 500 dollars.
