I now have 5 different kinds.

I just opened a new kind called Nigori, which is unfiltered, smooth and has a cirtus aftertaste.

I like sake but I don't know much about it. basically just try different kinds when i got out for sushi, it is good though. :grin:

Sashimi, and Korean BBQ go great with sake too.

I do love sake, but im sick of drinking shitty sake, if you want good sake you gotta dish out some dough.

Thats why I mainly drink it when I go out for Urchin or something strange, I swear some of those sushi places try to get you wasted.

sake may be my favorite alcoholic beverage... the carbonation in beer messes with my digestive system, hard liquor is too harsh and doesn't settle too well either, but my body tolerates sake pretty well.

i don't drink that often so i haven't figured out which type of sake i like best, i usually just pick a random bottle. but right now i have a bottle of sho chiku bai and it's ok... i also have a bottle of nigori too, but it's been sitting in my fridge for a while. i didn't really like the taste of it... a little too sweet for me.

i like hot sake best.

do you drink it cold or hot?

sake + salmon nigiri = heaven.

I can knock down $50 of sushi in 30 minutes easy while drinking sake.

Sushi is the only food I can drop $50 on and still feel happy afterwards.

I've never had hot sake though.
