One hitters?

anyone know how well these work?  the concept is appealing to me now more than ever so i thought id get some first hand  impressions on the things.

Waste of money if you ask me. Just buy a small bowl. My friend has one and we hit it all the time when we don't have a piece, just a waste of weed really.

what?  waste of weed?  wtf are you talking about son?  it performs the exact same function as a bowl.

one-hitters are mighty fucking convenient.  easily concealed, highly portable.  you can generally get a nice thick glassed one hitter for the same price as a cheap bowl (~$20-30). 

the only problem you might encounter is if you grind your weed up, it's a lot easier to pull ash through.  so when using the one-hitter, i find it's best to just pinch off from a nug, rather than having it ground up like i normally do.

oh, and speaking of the portability of bats, i actually took one on a plane with me before (it was cleaned out of resin, just in case).  all i did was roll it up into my sleeve.  so easy to hide.

Yeah ,thats what I used to smoke on the plane (when you could smoke cigs),but I have not since 9/11,I refuse to be treated like a fukin convict,so I just dont fly anymore...

Right? I love my little metal one hitter/dugout, it looks like a cigarette. It really conserves my smoke.

The bat is stored in the right side.

your ground up weed is stored in the left side.

you dip int bat into the ground up weed and pack a little bit into the end of the bat.

light that shit. I use the metal on the lighter to watch the bat and see when it goes out.

tap the ash out of the bat.

I grind all my weed. Furthermore I don't get high off a single hit from a one hitter. If I need to pack more weed I'd rather just use a bowl.

i had a beautiful glass pintch a little bigger thank a one hitter but i loved it fit perfectly into a cig pack, conserved weed, brought it everywhere with me.

well despite the nomenclature, one-hitters (aka bats) are quite often able to be packed with more than one hit of weed.  if you do have trouble with pulling ash through 'cause you grind your weed, just get a $0.25 pack of screens from the head shop and cut it down to size.  if you cut it just slightly larger than the hole, then it should stay in without any trouble.

or just stick with a bowl.  :shrug:  it's all good.  i don't even have my glass bat anymore.  i think it fell out of my pocket while biking last year.  but i got my small bowl and bong, so i'm solid.

I don't know, I just don't see the point. The only piece that is worth hitting only once is a vape or a bong. I pack everything else at least twice. I suppose its useful if you're into that whole paranoia thing, but I'll smoke a bowl driving any day of the week. Things are pretty relaxed in my area.

people either love em or hate em. the people who need more than a few hits to achieve the desired effect or are always smoking dirt weed are the one who seem to hate them. i personally love em. very efficient and easy to conceal
