So tomorrow I think I am going to purchase a quality vape. I think I've settled on the iolite, since it's got great reviews everywhere and the portability would be nice.

I would have opted for a Purple-Days but there's a 9+ week lead time before it's even shipped.
But what are your guys thoughts... anyone have any experience with the iolite? Seems like it'd be a quality vape.

I got an iolite (among a whole other stash of vapes, PD being my favourite obviously).
I'm trusting the company on their science and the breakdown of butane, that's my ONLY gripe and it might not even be warranted.
Besides that, works great, you can hit it in public no problem, not much visible vapor (most portables don't in general) but gets you where you need to be.
If you're using the vaporizer more at home then portable, go with a home unit IMO. If it's the other way around, more portable then home... the iolite is a great vape.

Vaporgenie is more a garage/tent type vaporizer.
It looks very suspect in public and draws attention, that's if you can hit it in the first place because it absolutely blows when there's even the slightest wind.

The Vaporgenie was my first vape and my introduction to vaporizing, it's not the best out there... but for the price and with a big of skill/technique it's a badass product.
Mainly recommend it for an intro to vaping, I don't think it's an ideal portable vape, bit of a bastard to load/stir/hit outside.
I hope the OP isn't getting an iolite though and planning to use it at home 75% of the time. You would be better getting a nice $150 whip unit for home then perhaps a cheaper portable (Magic Flight Launch Box is my favourite atm, $80) or just go ahead and get the iolite for out and about anyway.

It'd be portable the majority of the time, in between work & class and friends places since I'm rarely at my house. I have a Vaporite home whip, which is decent for the price but pretty cheap.

lol man I dunno how people like you can do it: smoke weed before class & such. I gotta do it in strictly recreational settings -- weed knocks me for a loop, man.

I haven't blazed with another person for like 5 years, it's 100% solo.
I never interact with anyone face to face stoned, ever.

I have a good 2 or 3 hours between work and class so I usually hang at friends places or somewhere. Cause goin from work to class is such a drag, a little smoke in between is nice.

Pretty good.
I do my work/study/sporting/social activities all 100% sober (don't drink socially either).
Then kick back on the net with my online games/dvd's and drink beer + vape weed.
