i've smoked on and off for five years. the off time was long periods(usually around six months). the on time, was every single day, as much as possible. more on the weekends due to not smoking at work.
the last time i started smoking, was high quality weed(purple in it, covered with crystals) and i smoked everyday for like three months. i did eat healthy and jog though.
i quit for one whole month, then i took two tiny hits(not even .1) two weeks ago. haven't smoked since.
the problems im having, i know are due to quiting, but i forget how long these things take to pass.
im 5' 11", weigh 155-160, eat healthy, and exercise regularly.
how long, under my circumstances, should it generally take for these things to pass?

A few weeks depending on heavy smoking? You say you quit for 6 months before, shouldn't you know this answer?

I am going to have to say tha the physiological side effects last about as long as the metabolites do in your blood stream, which is generally anywhere from 2-30 days. With daily heavy smoking it most like takes close to a month before the pain relief and other nice effects completely wear off. At least I notice it pretty easily. After everyday usage for a week or more I usually get a little irritable when I quit and have trouble sleeping for a night, if I can get to sleep at all. I still feel like my head is slightly in a different place and my body has ever so slight euphoria passing through it for a few days.

I smoked every day for ten+ years. When I quit, cold turkey, it took between two and three months before I felt normal. The hardest part was the insomnia and the wicked dreams.

I reckon 2months max . .
The insomnia can go away with a week or two. I remember the last time I had it bad - complete headfuck. I have nice slumbers now.
