Hello,
i've received from a donator (www.zuchtbedarf.de/ - A famous mycelium vendor) a big amount of spawn.

I need to spread it as soon as possible, because I have no space in my fridge.

Grain spawn:
- Flammulina velutipes
- Pleurotus djamor

Plug spawn:
- Hypholoma capnoides.

I only need a few dowels, as I will probably be transferring the culture to agar and cleaning it up, I might get mine from Ohms or someone else whos getting a big bag of them.


As soon as the site goes back up, I still have some prints here for donation that I promised previously. I'de like to see the site up before I send them off though.


Why dont you just host the FSRE out of your Shroomery Journal?

1 have an only big bag of wood plugs, that i need to divide requester by requester, and i believe i'll send something like 4 or 5 plugs for requester.

FSRE isn't my organization, it's the one for the active mushrooms. See FSRE.NL

We were FSP, just for edibles and medicinals but now we changed name in BEMUSHROOMED. We are work in progress so for now no website.

I'd love to keep it on Shroomery but they said me time ago that i create a conflict between them and the official vendors. And on more we'd like to create a different strcturally forum and project.

We won't receive any donation anymore. With the FREE DISTRIBUITED MYKOBANK everybody can be a little mykobank from his/her home. So will ship the goodies directly from his/her home after received the paymnet (just production and shipment cost) on his/her paypal account.

We'll be simply the mainframe and you all the terminals!

I have my free spore people mixed up, im glad theres enough of you all to get mixed.

what is your solution for people who hate banks and paypal but want to participate?
maybe a SASE system instead of a payment system? that way there would be no money involved and you could host the list from your journal.

Hello CptnGarden,
Paypal for what i know is the best method to ship money. And the most famous, this means that the greater part of the requesters have got the possibility to use it.

For people who don't want to use Paypal, the holders can choose or not to show their addresses to send the money in the envelope. But like you can imagine the 70% of the growers don't want to forward their addresses because they grow also active "friends".

The SASE system doesn't work everywhere. I imagine you're from the USA, where this system works, but when you send an envelope from the USA to ITALY, the Italian postal office doesn't consider the USA stamp a stamp, but simply a piece of paper. So SASE system works just nation same nation. On more consider that cultures can't be send in a common paper envelope but in a bubble bag envelope (that's a mess to fold and send into another envelope).

I'm sure with the suggestions of everybody we can find a solution.

good points. ill continue to ponder.
but otherwise ive no bank account or paypal and ide still like to donate something like 60+ prints without spending a stamp on each one, ide rather spend 2 stamps to send them all to someone who im POSITIVE will send them all out for free or the price of postage.

In this case for the people who haven't got paypal we'll create some special holders that receive and respread the cultures or the sporeprints they receive.

Going back to the SASE subject: there's actually such a thing as a stamp that works internationally. That's called an International Reply Coupon and costs about 2 €/$ depending on the country.

thanks for the tip.

I've just discovered that the IRC (the thing you're speaking) works up to 20gr.

For spores will work perfectly but with cultures won't for sure (at least if are used common petri dishes.)

On more to use the IRC the nation where will be sent the letter must be part of the Universal Postal Union.
