how to find a civil rights attorney?

does anyone know how to go about this, and actually get someone to listen?

seems i have called places, i get the run around, anyone have any luck with this?

different lawyers will work with different problems with civil rights, looking for "civil rights" lawyers wont do you much

You can start with your local Lawyers Guild or even ACLU. They could probably help you in one way or another.

I gave you this answer the last time you asked, you'll be very hard
pressed to find an attorney that will handle it, once they file
against the county or the state they'll suffer more harassment than
you have, they wont get much work, other lawsuits will be stalled

how would they get harassed at all, let alone more than me?

how would other lawsuits be stalled?

why wouldnt they get much work?

you are assuming every lawyer on the planet practices criminal law at the same time they do civil law. some dont

civil rights cases are far and few, most attorneys do specialize in
some area of law like family law, drug law, criminal or civil law,
of course civil rights falls under constitutional law and whether
you've noticed it yet or not, you're dealing with the old boys
network, the judges know the lawyers, the court clerks know the
lawyers, the cops are a part of that system... now put 2 and 2
together and figure out why  no one wants to touch your case

most are only going to handle cases that will hit national
headlines, a little police harassment isnt going to generate
more business for them, it wont make their names a household
word, it'll take you years and more than $100k to get to court,
I'm seeing this with a simple civil case right now
