I broke my neck!

I can't believe it. I broke my neck. I haven't been able to touch the pc in about a week due to the pain being so extreme and me being morpheing out at the hospital and now pilled out at home. I have permanent spinal cord damage causeing numbness to my lower half of face and neck, I can feel it but I can't feel pain like i can stab a needle through it with no feeling it's so weird.

I'm kind of drunk right now sorry guys but wow.

This has made me look at life in such a different way. and Really get annoyed easily at people and their bullshit. It seems as if anyone that gets into any kind of verbal argument I just want to say hey guys, think about in 5 minutes from now your thoughts won't even be on this subject of negativity and infact if you reflect on yourself and the exact negative thoughts you are having right now I guarantee you would feel guilty.

I wokeup in a pool of blood at the bottom of my apartment stairs, my friend found me the next day. I don't remember anything of that day or the day after. I only smoke weed and don't drink or do anything else. My mouth was full of blood and my tounge had marks so I think I might have had a seizure, my sister has seizures so maybe.

I feel horrible. this neckbrace is making me have clostrophobic panic attacks

I had a friend that did just about that same thing. Had a seizure and broke his neck, im sorry that that happened. But if it makes you feel better my buddy made a full recovery. The feeling in your face and stuff will come back, give it some months though. it will kinda bother the fuck outta you when those nerves grow back but look on the bright side, you arent paralyzed. And more than likely you will have somebody takin care of you right? I mean are you in a halo?

I have titanium bars in my back from my neck to my ass due to scoiliosus ive had there for 6 years since i was 15. so I wouldnt have been drafted anywyas. this is just mjore shit i haveto put up wwith the same fucking night that I was dead at my stairs my apartment got robbed so i told the police and im thinking someone did it to me and robbed my place but I DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING SO I CANT TELL THE POLICE ANYTHING!!!! what the fuck is the temp amnesia shit man. I DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING I can't even explain the feelings I have... anger,guilty,sadness,happiness over experienced something so fucked up that i think it will make me an extremely strong characted person that other people will look up to. I DONT KNOW.

That sucks man and I wish you all the best. You are correct we do as humans tend to consume a lot of time with trivial thoughts and worries. I have had a few grand mal seizures but never had a great fall during one. I can honestly say I think the reason I have had the seizures I have experienced  is due to a 15 foot fall off of a cliff quite a few years ago. I consider myself lucky that is the only side affect I have had from the incident. Good Luck!

Hey, i slipped on a wet floor and broke the fuck outta my leg. I now have a plate and 7 screws in it. I still havent jumped or ran since. Life is fragile.

ontop of that I lost my job that I just made a manger position at since I figured out the guy that did it worked at my job and I confronted him, he started a scene and I knocked him in the temple with my cell phone wearing my fucking neckbrace at a sprint call center. Please pray for me. IVE NEVER SAID THE WORD PRAY BEFORE I DONT EVEN BELIEVE IN RELIGIOUN. But now I do. The same night this all ahpepned I was reading the bible for the first time in ym life due to suggstion be a religioud christian friend and yes its full of the same reptitive stories but they said good thigns and all I believ its triyng to teach is eye for an eye and appreciate the sammlest things in life there is no reason to get bitter. What drives you to get bitter in life?

What am I suppose to gain from this at this point super? I've had these horrible things happen to me over and over, test of faith the religious would say, badluck agnostic or atheist. So just badluck then? Hazeus fucking santa watching someone break a mirror should now induce me into a 3day shock coma? What do I gain from this experience??!?!@#R Why must I gain anything from it? Man. some things are best to be forgotten. Honestly it seems like you need a fresh start. Seems like you put up with a lot of douchebags at work too. Maybe you need a change of environment. Or better yet, look into doing something you LOVE. now that you have all this time to sit and think about it, think hard about what duster wants to do/be not just what duster does to stay alive.

Valid questions. I do not necessarily believe in the big guy in the sky but I do believe in balance of the universe and karma. I for one have been in an extremely toxic work environment for over a year now and have been looking long and hard for other options. The only reason I am so miserable in my current position is due to one person who makes my life hell and is out to get me no matter what it takes,and believe me it is not just paranoia. I have been looking for another job for over a year now but with the way things are in the states I have found nothing. The worst part is that this b#@**= is my boss and there is no telling when she will have me fired although I work diligently and put my heart and soul into my job. Needless to say we all have shitty cards dealt to us at some point or another and what separates us is how we deal with it.  Good luck to you and no matter what don't forget there is always someone there to support you.
