It's the beggining of the best time of the best sport in the US (maybe it's second to lacrosse) and all you motherfuckers want to talk about it baseball and the NFL. IT'S NOT EVEN IN SEASON FOR EITHER OF THOSE SPORTS!!!!!!!!!

Wait 'til the Final Four rolls around and it's on national television.
All I ask of people is they watch that and give it a chance. If you can appreciate sports you can appreciate that weekend. Plus it's fucking Memorial Day weekend and I don't know anything else worth doing.

My original post is about March Madness, the conference tournies, and the couple weeks preceeding(although the lacrosse season did just start a couple weeks ago.)

I'm just saying that I understand lacrosse isn't popular in the least bit outside of Syracuse, Long Island, Virginia, and Baltimore, but I think that people should give it a chance and the best time to catch some of the best lacrosse is during the Final Four.

Honestly, Lacrosse isn't all that popular down here. I never hear anything about it aside from the occasional high school game.

Maybe not beyond high school since you don't have any colleges, but those are the four (maybe not VA) hotbeds of high school lacrosse. Almost every good D1 player comes from those areas, but that's been changing lately as it gets more popular.

Lacrosse is huge here in MD.

Definitely a great sport, but seriously, its the epitomy of pretentiousness.  Go to something like Hopkins vs. Princeton and its the equivalent to watching a game of polo.

Do the fans get to go out at halftime to replace divots and pick up the players poo?  I bet the Princeton players are used to that.

Your right about March Madness but do a post on it.  Spring training has started for baseball, a lot of big free agent signings are happening with the NFL and also the draft is coming up so why do you care if other people post about it? 
Also like the WNBA, arena football, college wrestling, and so on I'd put lacrosse in that catagory.  Very few people care or follow it.

Yeah, I don't really expect people to be all into lacrosse.
I am surprised at the lack of interest in basketball not only on the boards but in real life. I came from a basketball town so it was culture shock to not have people all into it.

I thought it was sooner than that.  Oh well, nothing like staying home on the weekdays to watch the opening rounds of the tourney while everyone else is at work or school.  Looking forward to it.
