MDMA + anti-psychotic?

Hey everyone, i didn't find the answer in the serach engine so i thought I would make a thread about

doing MDMA while on a anti-psychotic, like alanzopine
do u know if the anti-psychotic will stop the MDMA from working?

Don't do it.  I wouldn't mix two medications.....send the MDMA to me and I will dispose of it safely :smile:

what are you taking?

even though a lot of people say if you are "crazy" dont do psychedelics..
they arent the "insane" ones.

i think sometimes the people who are labeled and put on medication are just as sane as others living normally in society.

just because someone told you you're fucked up doesnt mean you should never do drugs,or never have mdma, so dont necessarily listen to what people say when they make drastic judgments based on the fact that you are taking an anti psychotics.

well i dont know about that drug.. im sorry.
so far from the small amount of reading that i have done i'd say it tends to diminish the effects of mdma.

i dont want to encourage you to do something you will regret or something that will hurt you, but i feel like a lot of people write off anyone with a serious mental issue as being unfit to take psychedelics when i believe they are the people who could benefit the most from them if taken correctly in the right context etc.

so to be honest, i have no idea.

i was once taking seroquel but i dont think that is similar to alanzopine at all 

if you have schizophrenia or something i realize going off anti psychotics even for a short time can be more uh.. 'dangerous' than if you had bipolar or something.

i have been diagnosed with probably 10 different things, and i'll tell you my life has been getting better and better since i quit taking all the drugs they gave me, but i know some drugs are really beneficial for some people, so its up to you.

i have a really basic understanding of drugs, i know schizophrenia is associated with higher dopamine receptor activity which is why ssri's arent 'sDri's', its too dangerous to try increasing dopamine levels (...?)
mdma affects dopamine and serotonin levels. now on wiki it says that olanzapine (which included zyprexa) has a higher affinity for 5-HT2 serotonin receptors than D2 dopamine receptors and may involve antagonism at serotonin receptors. so... yeah.
maybe you wouldnt have as much of the "love" but you would get the "energy"
i really am not sure about any of this though. and it obviously all depends on your dose as well.  and im not a scientist or anything :frown: i dont know if anything bad would happen if you mixed the two.

I would NOT fucking mix those 2. dont be stupid. If you wanna try MDMA its safer for you to ween yourself off the medication for 2 weeks, THEN take some. Dont fry/kill yourself
