i'll wait to pass final judgement until after i've seen this (which i'm sure i will) but from that trailer, it just looks like a lame excuse to show nazi's getting brutally tortured and killed, with a hint of dark humor thrown in.

i mean, sometimes i wonder if all this nazi hate is going in the wrong direction. sure some of them did horrible things, but movies like this seem to condone that type of behavior, not condemn it. glorifying the slaughter of people (even though they're nazi's) makes us just as bad as them. i mean i know it's all fake, that kind of attitude just doesn't appeal to me when brad pit is casted to be the supposedly good guy.

Ive read parts of the script.. funny thing is a majority of the movie doesnt even include the basterds, they just pop in every now and then.. kinda lake a group character ala pulp fiction. Quint stated he did rewrites after the script was released but I hope to God not and that it is highlighting the basterd aspects more to cash in on the whole 300 craze.

Honestly I was really disappointed in the teaser.. I have loved most of Quints work and even like the dissapointing entrys, mainly Death Proof.. which itself wasnt all that bad just sort of a let down.

But ive been waiting on this movie for YEARS, and thought this might be the movie where he actually attempts to top Pulp but seems like hes still scared to put out a movie that he actual puts it all on the line for and isnt some kind of exploitation B movie homage.

I love action as much as the next guy but DAMN.. looked like saving private ryan had a love child with 300, and not in the best way.. Just saying, I was hoping this movie would be another All-time greats like Pulp and Dogs but from the way they are marketing this it seems like more of the self revelintial BS Quints been getting bad on.
