Anyone catch Wilcock on Coast to Coast last night?
    #9755209 -

He debuted a clip from a song off his studio album "Wanderer Awakening" that he's releasing in April.  I actually thought it sounded kinda cheesy.   I guess we'll see what it's all about when it comes out.

What is cool, though, is the cover art for the album which is artist Andrew Jones' vision of a 6th density being.  Check it out:

That graphic rocks...but seriously, humanoid?

I would expect cheesy, though

Some people just can't fan out very well and he strikes me as someone who is good at what he does, but he shouldn't try and involve it in every other medium of inspiration. And really, I see him more of a scientist type anyway...if I were to choose one out of the dichotomy.

Ever notice how ever humanoid alien is always depicted with strongly Nordic features?  What's up with that?

Holy shit. The album art is sick. I love the subtle asymmetry with the two birds in the eyes.

I haven't heard the song yet. I have to admit I wouldn't be surprised if it was kind of cheesy. David is a very book smart person, and he has a lot of wisdom, but he doesn't seem that well versed in social integration.

If he did, I believe he would have used a more subtle approach and/or metaphorical explanations for his beliefs instead of outlining everything in absolute literal terms.

This has always been where I feel that David falls short... but it's only a limitation for those who aren't willing to release attachment to the ego's discernment and critical thinking aspects. In other words, I believe it's only a limitation for those who are not willing to suspend disbelief while observing.

Personally, I fluctuate between being in a state where I find him approachable and being in a state where I find him obtuse and difficult to swallow.

That being said, I do find this discrepancy personally inspirational; as it has helped me to understand myself and my own creative goals better. Being a musician, I am largely focused on meeting people half way by integrating uniquity, spirituality, and creativity into a form that is familiar and comfortable enough to be palletable to a human's egoic side.

While I haven't listened to the song yet, I suspect that this balancing act is where David may have dropped the ball. It's very easy to have too much of one or the other. When this happens, your target audience has shrunk drastically.

I like to think that humanoid interpretation of higher energy beings is not entirely unreasonable.

Instead of getting caught up in the idea that we make concepts in our image, I like to flip it around: WE are made in the image of our CONCEPTS.

We are the condensation of higher energy patterns.

We didn't choose to manifest humanoid so "we'd be comfortable with ourselves" did we? That's absurd, because there would be no motivating template. (ie, no physical form to compare to when choosing.)

We just are how we are, and it's out of our hands.

Whether we're warping our perception of higher energy beings to fit within our framework or if we were shaped by that framework, there's no applicable difference. Either way, it's a subtle way of saying everything is unified. We're all one.

Wow I just made that image my desktop background. I was planning on tuning into that, but it slipped my mind.

I read some explanations for that but i dont quite remember. I think i was researching the plaeidians

Man is timid and apologetic; he is no longer upright; he dares not say "I think," "I am," but quotes some saint or sage. He is ashamed before the blade of grass or the blowing rose.Man postpones or remembers; he does not live in the present, but with reverted eye laments the past, or, heedless of the riches that surround him, stands on tiptoe to foresee the future. He cannot be happy and strong until he too lives with nature in the present, above time

In the end that's all you really can say. I doubt the creator has thought that out though. He's probably just as stuck in the concrete mindset of out physicality extending to infinity as the hindus or egyptians were, thousands of years ago, putting human faces on animals. I think it all comes down to gross emphasis on anthropomorphism. This is in the context of assuming we should have a better grasp of this since we're thousands of years closer to "drawing the veil" or however you put it.

boO - I see a man, no?

I was talking more generally, but obviously the facial features of this being look caucasian.  I just wonder why you never see humanoid beings depicted as black or asian.  I always see them depicted as Aryan supermen.
