The way the seasons effect personality is so odd (but not unusual).

It's kind of annoying because it feels like the power over myself is 1/100th of what I thought it was. On the other side, it is beautiful.

Right now it's getting ready to become spring and drift into summer and I'm all ready to just give up normal life again and roam around the world. I look at my books and my wallet and think "fuck it!". But when it's late summer into fall with winter not far behind all I want to do is settle down into some secure home with a steady income and lots of rest and book reading.

Pretty odd, isn't it? Damned dumbass sun...

yeah I think I get seasonal depression too.

It sucks. I don't have any energy at all and sometimes I can barely keep my eyes open.

plus my immune system is so shitty... I've had a sinus infection for a month now. I'm going to have to see an ear, nose, and throat specialist now cuz I almost have a hole in my septum, just from all the drainage.

I always forget right when wintertime starts kicking in that you think differently. I start to get all grumpy and wonder why everything isn't so awesome. Then I remember about halfway into winter OH YEAH, this happens EVERY DAMN YEAR.

It's kind of ridiculous.

Yeah, I never knew I had seasonal affected depression until I moved from dreary Rochester, NY with its 9+ months of winter to Atlanta, Ga with its 2 weeks of winter.  Man, I am doing so much better in life...I actually have a life (work, gf, friends, and fun, etc) instead of laying on the couch watching TV all the time.  I thought it was because I smoked too much bud...but I still smoke too much bud, yet now I am able to get out and enjoy life. :cool:

I've been considering one of those full spectrum lamps to put near my computer or something and try to soak up some of those D-vitamins.
