An interesting 2012 theory

12/21/12 is gonna be one of the highest death tolls in history. not because anything will happen, but because a bunch of people are gonna do random shit because they think they will die anyway.

But the vast majority of people dont believe it or never heard of it.

The shroomery has a higher than average percentage of tards that believe this crap... so maybe you will see the highest shroomery death toll in history.

Oh yeah, the ancient Mayan calendar ends at 2012. Some poeple seem to forget the Mayans were barely out of the stone age.

They never claimed the world was gonna end from what I've seen.  Just that there would be a major upheaval.  At least according to the History Channel's documentary.  That's as far as I've studied it.

You might just want to start finding a new place to talk about things like these. You have to realize, even people who have ate shrooms do not see bigger pictures other than their own personal big picture of things. You have to remember everyone is worried about their personal view of what is important and what should be worried about.People shouldn't worry about that day though. Its only time. And when we realize we are following a man made version of time, we'll get out of the loophole we call living.  So hopefully we'll all realize that before 12/21/2012 at 11:11 UT so we don't feel like we're going crazy and instead feel like we are beginning something new.

That is absolutely incorrect.  But it is worth giving them consideration, however the 2012 fantasy is a product of modern american culture - not ancient mayan.

not completely, the modern belief came from the fact that the mayan calendar ended at 2012 and conspiracy theorists and psychos blew it way out of proportion as a way of controling the masses :cool:

The Mayans thought an apocalypse would come during the end of their calendar. They also thought that the sun wouldnt rise without the occasional human sacrifice.

There may be an awesome rare celestial event in 2012, but that doesnt necessarily mean Jesus will come, or we will transcend to a new consciousness.
