It's not a high explosive. It's sugar and potassium nitrate. It's a fast burning mixture at best.

I've made the shit several times. Biggest problem I ever had was cooking the sugar too much. I don't understand how you guys managed to ignite it on the stove.

Saftey goggles are always a good idea.

Too much heat and it combusted? it lit all at once basically and was a HUGE ball of fire (you know what it looks like)...well just hold the handle of the pan and let it light.thats what happened.

and whoever said they would do this or cook meth naked is fucking retarded just for this single reason.this shit burns HOTT and throws little chunks all over if it isnt hardened first (meaning if it goes off early its going to fuck your month up)

Theres an easily available alternative called sodium chlorate.  Its commonly sold as weedkiller.

It usually says on the back thats it includes "fire retardant" but it still works fine.

Use the sugar and weedkiller in a 1:1 ratio and you have an effective smoke bomb.

I think you can probably use any oxidizing agent and sugar although some will burn quicker than others and could become explosive if contained and efficiently detonated.

Strangely enough, my high school science teacher taught me everything I know on the nature of explosives.  I have no desire to use such info.  It would be useful if I was in a war though, you can improvise explosives from hundreds of different household items.

Now that were on topic, am I the only one here who loves making deadly things?

Ive made A LOT of Acetone peroxide powder and shape charged most of it. Ive blown so many holes in the ground with this super easy to make high explosive. It sucks that it's SO god damn unstable though. I worry about blowing limbs off every time I make it. I never do any drugs 48 hours prior to making it, especially amps cause it makes me to jittery and my hands to shaky and I know for a fact id probably end up blown up :lol:

Theres usually stabilizing methods for most explosives, I don't know what methods would be used in this case though.

I don't know if there is one and since I'm not qualified for bomb making or explosives making I won't try anything. I'll just be really careful cause it cna detonate from flame, friction, shock and pretty much everything.

It's worth the risk though when your blowing craters in the ground.

I never vandalised or stole or any of that shit but I always had an obsession with dangerous things and explosives being my favorite. I learned to make this stuff when I was like 11.

Liquid explosives are often added to a certaim type of foam and powdered explosives can be added to vaseline etc to make a putty.  Don;t quote me on it though, they are all different and their could be some chemical reaction that would blow you up.

When I was a kid me and my friends used to buy mini sticks of dynamite from france.  You could just buy them in any old shop there :grin:

If we didn't have any of those then we would stick a deodrant can on a firelighter and that made one hell of a boom.
