I had trouble finding potassium nitrate but when I DID find it we made tons of smoke bombs.

It's kick ass if you can find it.

Well.i wish i was bullshitting but. ive had a bad experience with this shit. I got a huge ass bag of saltpeter off ebay when i lived with my parents (3 years or so ago), i cooked up one of these babies (without the color...i never saw anyone make colored smoke before), but i put it all into a popcan that i cut the lid off of...and lit it and it fuckin melted the popcan instantly.I only had a tiny bit in it really so since i knew how hot it burnt being it melted the can instantly, i wanted to make a bigger one.

Me and my buddie got together while my parents were at the bar (beginning of bad story), we were cookin two of these up...side by side in the kitchen. being impatient,high, and stupid...my buddie turned his burner up a little bit. we were both standing beside them stirring and BAM this fucker lit up.i started jumping to run but had long sleeves n and felt it burning me, when i ran i knocked them both off the stove and the other one caught on fire at the same time. At this point my eyes were burnign like fuck and i was just running though the house pushing my buddy trying to get his foot out of fire ( he was standing on carpet that was installed 2 days before this)... ughh man. what a bad night. Makes awesome fuckin smoke though, had smoke pouring out all windows of the house like that bitch was blazing but there was really no fire, only big black chunks of burnt sugar all over the kitchen floor ...burn marks in the wooden floor,the wall by the stove was all cooked and took out the window blind with it.

I drove my moms car (cause it was an automatic) to the ER right after i called them and told them what happened. Had burns all over my hand, minor on my face... my buddy had bad 3rd degree on his foot and 2nd all over his hands and on all fingertips... i think i have a picture or two of my hand...i have more on my other pc.

Just sayin...i wouldnt fuck with this again. I had a ton of it...and i just sold it to my highschool chem teacher after telling him the story.Im not gonna bother tellin you guys not to try it cause this is the internet and 95% of it is bullshit but... if your dumb enough to try it be fuckin careful.

lol. i tried to make one when i was 15 or so. impatient, turned up the burner.

it smoked like a motherfucker, i'm glad my mom wasn't home.  my neighbors came over and asked if our house was on fire.

Well i wasnt like stupid stoned...i was just smoking. And owning a gas mask isnt going to help you at all? i put like an inch full into that popcan and when it lit, the can immediately melted.when i looked at it after it was done, it was the size of a quarter. Im sure everyone has thrown a popcan in a huge ass fire only for it to sit there or just turn black so you can imagine the amount of heat this shit puts off when it burns.

I was making it to put under a tailgate and was going to burn a hole through it. The second one was planned for some anarchey.im sure anyone knows that this fucker would burn right through a cars gastank if thrown underneath :shrug: not sayin to do it just sayin it woulda been a better story if it hadnt blown up inside my house haha.should had the camera on for the making i guess.

I tried this awhile back when I was in like 6th grade you used to be able to get freeze packs that had potassium nitrate in them, we had a bunch around the house for sports injuries.

the tek I had just said to cook the potassium nitrate and the sugar together you don't need all the other shit.

well I cooked them into a goo and dumped it into a butter container then put it in the fridge because I thought that would help it harden.

I checked on it 10mins later and it had ate though the container and most of the plastic shelf of the fridge.

then my mom beat my ass with a hotwheels track.

i dont know ive never made it

i only know that if you ever fuck around with any type of high explosives make sure the clothing youre wearing doesnt collect static electricity and never make more than a tablespoon or so at a time and wear safety mask or goggles

and try to think that anything that might go wrong will go wrong if you arent 100% fully aware of what youre doing

theres heaps more rules but you have to research it

Some of those vids make it too complicated.  We used to just mix sugar/salt peter at a 5:1 ratio then just pour it into a pile on the ground and hold a match to it till it lights.  The smoke just smells like burnt marshmallows.
