  He left a number to call so I did, just to see what he would say. I asked him how he got my info and how I could have won anything seeing as how I didn't enter any contest or anything and he claims it came from shopping at Walmart. I asked him how did Walmart get my info because I only use cash for all of my purchases. (I NEVER give out my address OR my e-mail to any company or store because I don't want any junk mail or any spam in my e-mail.) He then goes on to tell me that I won over $10,000 in cash and said that I would have to register it to get the money. I asked him if it would cost me any money to register it and he said yes.

  That was when I told him that it sounded more and more like a scam to me and that I was going to hang up the phone and report his ass to the FCC and the Attorney Generals office. He said go ahead, no problem, trying to play it off as if he was legitimate.

  So I hung up and called the Attorney General and gave them all the info that I could so that they are aware of the newest phone scam that's going around here. I HATE assholes like that because they prey on the elderly and such. I'm posting this not only to rant a little but also so that you can warn your older relatives about it.

  This is the info he left on my machine: Name= George Brown claiming to be a CEO of Global International out of Las Vegas Nevada, the phone number he gave to call back is 1-876-424-8207.

  I googled the name "Global International" and the first thing that comes up is a web hosting site, so I used a reverse number look-up on whitepages.com, no luck so I clicked on their sponsored link and U.S.search gives the location as Kingston, Jamaica. Which makes sense because the guy has a Jamaican accent.

  Man, I HATE jackass piece of shits like that, they are always trying to scam people out of their hard earned money instead of going out and earning their own the honest way. Someone needs to take assholes like that out and shoot them in the head to rid the world of scum like that, it might make it a better place for the rest of us.

  Ok, I'm done ranting for now. Down with ALL phone scammers!!! (There, is that better?)

I dunno, Global International Corp sounds like the name of a legit business enterprise. And it sounds plausible that one of the job duties of a CEO would be to make cold calls to inform sweepstakes winners of their jackpots.
