Are Psilo. Cubensis the same as Stropharia Cubensis strain? Or are they different? I've read in a french text that Stropharia C. could contain twice more psilocibin as Psilo. Cubensis. Do you think it could be correct?

OK. But I've had two different syringes one from PF, the other from Holland. They are really different, one is a bit yellowish, ivory (the foot), and clear brown (the cap); while the other is white and dark brown. The first is soft and the second rigid. I haven't compared scientiffically the two differnt strength. It seem to vary a lot from one to another into a same family.

different strains of psilocybe (stropharia) cubensis can show a fair amount of variation in form, color & relative potency, but one strain is not a LOT stronger than another.
when this mushroom was first discovered it was placed in the genus stropharia, but was later moved to the psilocybe genus, hence the occasional confusion.
