Lighter Thieves

I swear to god that I cannot go a day without losing a lighter. I have a couple friends who CANNOT use a lighter without pocketing it!!! They don't do it on purpose but it still pisses me off. I personally do not lose lighters. All my lighters are lost because of my friends. So what can I do about this? I was thinking about buying one of those big grill lighters, then no one could snag it. or get a SHOCK LIGHTER:evil:

I notice everytime someone holds on to my lighter its fucking rude and annoys me I have to ask for my own lighter back straight away.

hah...i used to be pretty bad at the when i got loaded and went to the bars...i'd have a lighter, but when i'd wake up in the morning i would have one or 2 different lighters...mine would get stolen a lot too though, i never take my zippo out when i'm drinking anymore.

I color with a sharpie on the bottom of mine and watch people when they use it.  If they pocket it I'll say something like, "Hey, can I have that blue lighter with the black bottom back?"

It eliminates the possibility of someone going, "Oh, no this is mine.  My lighter is blue, too"

I never lose em anymore.

I take it out, light wtv and put it back in my left pocket. My routine :P

If a friend needs it I make sure he/she lights wtv and I take it right back. I'm fed up of losing my lighters so I'm careful.

They are pretty cool. I usually carry 2 or 3 lighters anyway, which I almost always inevitably lose.. but at least I always still have at least one cause it's on my belt :yesnod:

Fuck lighter thieves, I don't let people take my fuckin' lighter, bitch get your own, they are like 89 cents. If they throw it in their pockets, I wait a bit to see if they are gonna give it back, and if they don't I wait till the very end and then see if they give it back, if they don't, I'll ask if they got it, if they say oh yeah, here it is man forgot, sorry, I'm cool with them, cause I know it's pretty easy to forget if you smoke some nice weed, but if they say no, don't expect me to ever smoke you out again.. but I will smoke your shit  :smile2:

Im gonna confess, im that guy. I usually end up with a new lighter after getting drunk at a party or something. I try my best not to but i cant stop myself. If its any consolation im seeking professional help.

Buy white lighters. People always seem to be superstitious when it comes to white lighters.

I've had white lighters stolen before though, so that is probably not the best advice.
