RIP Carl Sagan

Today is the day that Carl Sagan passed away in 1996.  He brought forth science and mainly astronomy topics to the forefront and immersed many people with his talks.  His series 'The Cosmos' is wonderful and still stands very true to this day, despite its age, if you have not had the chance to watch it, i highly recommend it.

Also, this video is great, not strictly Carl Sagan, but great none the less, and if he had the chance to see it, i think he would approve.



I posted this in sci-tech too, but thought more that don't come through there should see this.

i love carl sagan.

ive read a few of his books and have a few more layin around i gotta read.  really amazing guy.

i watched cosmos while tripping on acid once and it was :awesome:

I'm a HUGE fan of Sagan. 

I also cannot recommend "Cosmos" highly enough.
