I take the legume/grain ratio for granted and try to include some vitamins A,C+E. Perhaps I could substitute a tablespoon of mollasses for coffee to improve my diet, I don't know.

This looks like a good diet for a healthy person.  But what exactly do you want to do with this?  Be healthy?  I read your other post and it was about muscle building, and in that sense, this diet is pretty bad, that is if you want to really build a physique worth praise.

This is alright, though two bananas in one shot is alot and is a faster digesting carbohydrate.  IMO, you should try reducing to one banana, and replace 1 or 2 packets of oatmeal for a slower digesting carb.

post workout:

water drink water all day, through out your workout aswell!
spinach (big handfull)
cucumber (3/4)
barley grass (1/4 scoop)
spirulina (1/2 scoop)
hemp protein (2 heaped scoops)

What's with all this stuff?  I'm sure they have their benefits, but this doesn't look like a meal to me.  You should drink your hemp protein immediately after you workout, and then have a meal an hour or so after your workout session.  You need carbs in your post workout meal, potatoes/rice FTW.  And a difference source of protein, any meats will suffice.

lunch:

2 brown bread sandwiches
w/peanut butter
spinach
cucumber

This looks tasty.  Though you need protein here, again.  Tuna sandwich is better IMO.  How about one tuna sandwich, and one PB.  You probably will be full, so instead have the tuna, and scrap the PB sandwich for now, leave that for a midnight snack.

also snack on a few nuts seeds & dried fruits (2 handfuls)

dinner:

big bowl of carrots & brocoli
brown pasta
tomatoe sauce
tuna or chicken
peppers

There you go!

i also drink a litre bottle of water throughout the day
with a couple teaspoons of sole in it Multiply this by atleast 3!

omega 3 suppliment (1200mg) This helped me to cut fat!  Definitely good stuff...
multivitamin -necessary??? Get the multi-viM!

the only downside i can see is i microwave/reheat my dinner

Well, you can't set the world straight...

I hope that helps.  There are alot of holes in your diet, but that is because I assume you are starting to lift weights.  If you want any more help, you can IM me.  I have been into the gym/diet scene for 5 years or so and always get asked questions, and I love to answer 'em.  I am not a 'fitness guru' or 'dietician', so what I have written is just from research and experience in terms of building muscle and working-out and having a good time doing it.

Your diet looks pretty good overall.

Disregard what ginseng1 said about your green smoothie, it will help you so much.  You might want to add an apple or pear to it, makes it a bit better tasting and gives replaces some needed sugars after a workout.

Also you have plenty of protein, your body can't digest more than 20% protein, the more green leafy veggies the better eat lots of salad, it helps to digest any foods.

Personally I would remove the processed carbs: bread and pasta, and replace them with fruit and veggies/good whole grains like quinoa.  I would say the more greens the better, you can never have too many greens!

You probably wont gain the weight that other people do lifting, but you will be getting stronger, slimer, and you muscles will grow.  I have lost a few pounds over the past few months going mostly raw, but at the same time I have made gains in most of my weight training.

That's a great diet.

My daily diet is usually just a ton of dairy, sugar, and simple carbs, with the occassional carrot, apple or bowl of nuts.  I used to eat better, but have never maintained a healthy diet for a long period of time.

my main goal is health

my past diet was mainly cocaine, cigarettes, cognac, beer, weed & burger king

i dont want HUGE gains, just to be lean/defined

i forgot to add i have an all natural nutri bar right after workout
which has 11g protein & 37g carbs in it, mainly rolled oats
& of course the green smoothie

so im getting lots of protein (50ish g) & at least some carbs right after a workout

i have nuts, sandwiches & brown pasta/meat no so long after aswell

surely it cant be THAT bad as im already seeing some gains

my main concern was that im missing out on some essential vitmains minerals or nutrients

:peace:

It will definitely get you nice and lean and if you keep it up exactly as you posted it. I'm sure you wouldn't even have to do cardio and you could get down to pretty low body fat levels.  It looks healthy and lean as hell.

You will see gains if you are just getting started out, everybody does.  I ate three meals a day when I started out and gained like 15 lbs and I barely knew what I was doing.  I didn't even work legs.

Also, person above said to disregard what I said about your protein shake.  I think your shake looks awesome and I would love to get in on it to be honest.

All I said was for you to drink your shake immediately after your workout, and to eat a meal an hour after that.  I assume your brown pasta meal is what it is.  So you're in the clear.

Anyway, from what I usually see, people that are already in decent shape usually want to surpass their goals and most of the time I get asked how to get bigger arms and stuff.  I guess I have been conditioned to think that everybody wants to get buff.

Well, if you ever want to get buff, you know what to do now lol!

ive found the best way is to spend your whole shopping budget on nothing but healthy food, then you have no choice!

the green shake is something that few years back i wouldve turned my nose up at
but for some reason i cant any longer ignore that theres food out there this good

back in the day people would have to travel the globe to taste the variety of
food thats out there, now you can just order the best superfoods from all around the world off the net!

I made some pure green juice a few days ago, boy was it strong, felt great to drink, but bit too strong in taste, heh.
