itunes BS

i just reformatted my pc, just downloaded itunes and im ready to put the songs on my ipod into itunes.  but i dont want itunes to erase my files on my ipod. this is a common problem. does anyone know the steps to prevent this?  :rainyday:

you cant use itunes w/o it wiping out past data.

get sharepod and use it, load it onto your ipod and you can use it to organize your music.
