thats exactly how im going to make it today. i usually buy that pre made seasoning, but i wanted to try something different.

i was even thinking about throwing in some chicken or ground beef to the mix.

fuck i need some help

my recipe calls for 8 table spoons of chili powder but i only have 5. what can i do to replace those 3 tables spoons.

also, im cooking the trip in one pot and the pigs feet in another. could i get away with pouring out some of the tripe broth and replace it with the pigs feet broth?

how long do you let the pigs feet and tripe cook for? they have been in the water boiling for 2 hours now.

it will be fine without the extra chili powder, just not as spicy.

i love me some good menudo though...a side affect of growing up close to the mexican border i guess.

well the menudo kinda sucked. there was too much spice and not enough flavor. i think im going to stick to the pre mixed stuff.
