A bailout is one of the most unAmerican thing I can think off.

What's so un American about keeping 1000s of workers employed, with a steady paycheck so they can heat their house and put food on the table.
I didn't really want the gov't to bail out wallstreet, but that didn't really effect me. This on the other hand...

I'm not saying it's the everyday commoner's fault, but if a company fails, it fails. Cities are starting to ask for bailout money, and States will are next in line. Sooner or later I can't imagine the American tax payers being able to foot this bullshit any more. Where's my bailout?

so, i have somewhat decided that america is pretty much fucked.

as such, as a business man and capitalist i am trying to sell out to the Chinese.

what a world, what a world.

America the capitalistic empire, is being sold out.

although, its quite interesting, that greed, and the foreign investments in America just might save it from a complete nuclear Holocaust one day...

"in times of widespread chaos and confusion, it has been the duty of more advanced human beings - artists, scientists, clowns, and philosophers - to create order. In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption"

"People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

anyone that doubts the united states of america will succumb to the massive influence of the north american union is missing out on a key window into the future. it is the 'easiest' solution to all of our economic problems, and has already been invested in, and is being implemented.

the perfect way to initialize whatever you want it to spill the blood of hundreds of thousands of people. this is what will happen to make ALL americans look to big daddy for help.

its so fucked up that the upcoming event has been crafted by our own countrymen.

I really hope Obama gives us all tax breaks like he says he will. We are all going to need a bailout sooner or later after that whole Bush incident.

Most of the talk of tax breaks came before the economic collapse.  I'd expect some sort of tax restructuring at this point, but getting exactly what was offered seems unlikely.

they already retracted plans for the windfall profits tax he was talking about.  i envision alot more of his promises being lost in the turmoil.

In all fairness, there has to be some realization amongst the public that conditions have changed drastically since the beginning of the campaign.

Obama can't just close his eyes and pretend nothing has happened.

I'm not saying that's what you're proposing he do, I'm only stating it for the record...

Perhaps the issue will come back up in 2-3 years when this mess is over, assuming that he still has political capital at that point.  I guess that depends on if it looks like he will be winning reelection.
