It's actually quite sleek. I'd go for it. I'm much more into extremely colorful tattoos, because I'm a bland person by nature so I like to add some color to my life. But that's a pretty nice way of putting a mushroom on your body without saying "hey I eat mushrooms for recreation!"

thanks. I was thinking blacklight ink on the forearm or maybe in black ink on the shoulder blade

Get the negative space filled in with the blacklight ink and the rest in black. It will transform.

i heard the black light ink is dangerous.


not sure though. might wanna look into it before committing.
i know a couple artists that would refuse to put it on you.

All the sites the say the same thing about that ink that it's FDA approved all that stuff and is safe, maybe the artist just thinks it's too lame to be associated with :shrug: Of course doesn't mean it is safe in the long run............

the problem (I've heard) with uv ink is it fades away and have to be reapplied every few years.

It's too tribal looking for me personally, but if you like it go for it! I personally like color though, esp. with mushrooms, you could do some cool stuff w/ color.

I think it's more celtic than tribal. Almost the same thing either way though. I've got mostly oldschool pieces, always been my favorite style.

Here's a drawing I made a few years ago based off the same concept. I did it just for the hell of it. You can use it if you want. Just thought I'd share w/ someone who might be able to use it.
