the word DANK

When did this word become something good...

for me dank has always been along the lines of bunk...and sticky meant resiny....

to me Dank means underdried grossly stinky weed ( Not cured and only partially dried good weed)

Bunk is the same thing but bad weed

i dont knw why but it kinda agrivates me, my dealer says hes got sum super dank and i tell him to stick it up his butt ...then i find out i turned down some kush...FFS
lol

im fighting a losing battle on this on, but the meaning of that word isnt gunna change for me haha

Just go with it.  It's a fun word to use like that.  I like using dank as an adjective for other things that are good, too!

dank implies wet to me tho

for eg... i live in a dank ass basement  or My carpet is so dank it might get mouldy...

i dno  what id use to replace dank in these sentences if it means sumthing good lol(dont say wet it just doesnt work lol)

WHHHHATTTT it must me a stste thing in the more southern states dank is like basically namelss high grade buds( crystaly, fresh ,bright colors, and pungent smell)

I hear ya...I just can't but weed from someone who describes it as "chronic" anymore. Call me crazy but I prefer a description like that to refer to high quality grade A nuggets, rather than just any old herb the person has around.

Dude, what part of the country are you in? On the west coast dank means "pungent", which in the case of weed is a good thing!
