Freezing yage

Ignore the bolded, it has been answered:)
I finally made some ayahuasca
simmer(slight bubbling, not a violent boil) yage vine and syrian rue, and psychotoria viridis(both pots with a little salvia, for some reason)in seperate pots with water and lemon juice, stirring and moving it around with a spatula like one does to milk a tea bag with a spoon
1.after three hours I poored the water through a white T and spaghettie strainer
2.cooked another three hours, accidentally evaporating the water from the aya/rue pot. added more.
3.poored off water at the end of that time, emptied pots(mostly, there was still about a handfull of plant matter in each pot untill the next day cleaning)
4.reduced...

At ten I was not done, so I poored the aya into bowls, looking like thick brown coffee and left them in the fridge for the night.
After school the next day I put the bowls with celophane wrap in the outside freezer. Is it safe to wait until Friday, slowly unthaw t room temp then reduce for that night?

I don't wanna loose potency.

---By the way, while I have a thread, does anyone know a good site for Amanita Muscaria? Pre-heated to convert the ibotinic acid and all. I heard some sites are good, others sell completely inactive mushrooms, and some sell ones that if you don't heat them you'll get sick.

Just a tiny bit, plain leaf, wont do anything being drank. Mainly did it out of respect, even though a salvia trip is rather painful to me.

freezing it works fine i freeze my left over plant matter for reuse i find that its reusable 2-3 time. i do a brew freeze then make another and after 3 brews i use the left overs making 2-4 brews from it. it all depends on yours style and stuff the more you brew the more youll learn and that cant ever be explained online only by it being directly taught and passed on.


i would say a similar thing about amanita use dont buy em for the love of god. and as i said tons of time i have eaten fresh picked with no ill results ony glorious exstatic ones

Good, I ment the brew, but as long as it doesn't destroy the alkaloids.

I wouldn't be looking to buy them if they grew around here and I knew my taxonomy. Not everyobe lives in Amanita habitat, sadly.
It would be bad ass though, living in old-growth habitat:D
