Because the depression in the international economy has led to lower demand for fuel oil gasoline from countries all over the world.  A slower economy lowers energy prices, but it also leaves the average person with less money with which to purchase fuel.

Yeah seriously. I was just thinking about that earlier, it has been damn near 5 years since i have seen gas prices starting with a "1".

Has come down to $1.99 city average  :monkeydance: (Modesto,ca)


This is probably the most dramatic drop in the price of fuel I have seen yet...
