Your spring semester courses
    #9243627 -

Have you registered for Spring yet?

I'm about to, but I'm going to have to talk to 3 or 4 professors to get a special permission code because some of the classes I need to graduate are full. I made up a tentative class list last night, but after looking over the Bio major requirements I had to change my course selection.

Here's what my semester is looking like next semester:

Field study in animal ecology
Field study in plant ecology
Mammalian physiology
Immunology

MAYBE Genetics

What are you taking?

Haven't signed up yet, I've been putting it off until I decide which community college I want to go to (2 options).
I guess I'll do it this weekend.

Accounting 242
Microeconomics 202
Calculus 271

I think that's all I need for my Associates.

invertebrate zoology w/lab
forestry
economic botany
chem 2 lab
conservation of natural resources
english comp 2 :mad2:

I took genetics over the summer.  I thought I loved the subject before that class.  It was really awful but the prof was a certified spacehead/conspiracy theorist which made things pretty entertaining.

Yeah, I've heard quite a few horror stories about genetics. I can't imagine how bad that must have been crammed into a summer course. It's a whole lot of molecular bio, isn't it?

Fuck no. Fall is in full swing. Cant focus on anything else.

I'm taking this spring off. There aren't enough of the courses I want to justify the tuition.

What I really want to do is start putting away some more cash and start on a model for a business I want to open up.

Yeah man a 5-weeklong genetics course is not the route to a fulfilling, carefree summer.

Actually the title of my book was iGenetics: A Molecular Approach if that clues you in on the sheer amount of molecular biology.  If you happen to need that specific book when/if you take genetics, I will gladly donate it.

What degree are you seeking anyway?

Yea, Im registered.  Last semester as an undergrad, woo-hoo!

PHY 523 General Relativity
PHY 462 Subatomic Physics
PHY 466 Advanced Laboratory III (Lab)
BIO 344 Origins, Evolution & Creation

That general relativity class will probably take more time than the rest of them combined.

Getting my bachelors in biology then moving on to grad school for something. I'm thinking zoology or marine biology would work out much better for me than something based in molecular bio. Pharmacology is still a possibility, we'll see.

Sounds good.

I definitely have a better grasp on organismal stuff over molecular. Have you taken any pharmacology courses yet?

Spring?
You skipped winter!
I can't register yet, I need to declare a major.
And not fail out of college of course.

I haven't taken any yet, but I did date a girl who was in pharmacy school. I looked over some of the stuff she was taking and it seemed fairly doable, although it is all rooted in molecular bio, as you would expect.

I did take neurobiology and immunology, which they do teach in pharm schools. I'm retaking immuno because I got the flu right before a test which ended up causing me to get a D in the class. Neither class was that bad, there's just a LOT of info in immunology.

I'll be damned if I'm gonna take winter courses. I get a full month off in the winter :awesome:

Linear algebra and calculus are the same class?  Those are two separate classes right.

What is 'modern Calculus Physics'?  Ive never heard of a class like that before.  Its funny how departments use the term 'modern physics' to describe relativity and quantum, which are a hundred years old.  Truly modern physics is the study of complexity, but the old names stick.

Ha yea those are two diff classes but for some reason the same teacher teaches them like back to back?? its a weird calculus series here

and yes its just a calculus based physics of quantum mechanics and relativity, not so much modern these days like you said ha

Still real cool though.  Those subjects are super interesting, and make physics the most awsome science ever.
