so the hierarchy is Dwarves > Aliens > Elves, or is it Aliens > Dwarves > Elves

Personally, I don't see why you included dwarfs, seeing as they are tangible beings, actually existing, and in some cases even mimicking ordinary human beings...  Dwarfs pose a much more real threat in the short term

Well I mean Dwarves, not Little People.
Like Lord of the Ring's Dwarves but only
dirtier. Also Seafaring.

These are the facts, though:

The Aliens try to take over the elves.
The Dwarves Control the elves.
The elves have great power but haven't struck.

So my deductions are as follows:

The dwarves can whoop alien ass
so the E.T.s don't mess with them.
That's why they mess with the elves.

And the elves could actually beat the dwarves(if they struck out of their control).
and the aliens beat the elves.

I think it is like a fantastically insane match of rock-paper-scissors going off in my head like a 49 gun salute.
