I kind feel like I posted all of this and forgot about it, cause I've thought the exact same thing.
I've thought about it, and I feel the best thing to do is to "make yourself more efficient". If your successful, then people will take note of that and attempt to mimic your success. Try your best to spread your own consciousness to others without a sense of force. I guess a good metaphor would be a mall. Make yourself the best store. People are never forced in, but if you're selling something unique and different then people will buy something. And if there is a good demand for that item, then you can expect people to come in.
I posted my thoughts on a facebook note once (similar to the topic at hand), and I got a crap load of comments on it and messages about people wanting to talk to me. I wasn't even planning on people reading it, I just wanted to jot some things down before I forgot then. I believe there is potential in everybody you just gotta open it up a little, ya know?
What I do, is I try to be a little more open than usual to people when it comes to consciousness, philosophy, and etc. Some people will then engage me in a deep conversation, some people will listen to that conversation, and others will walk away. I say that literally and metaphorically. Most people will walk away, but force won't do much either. Those people just need something more radical, but that can be hard to give
