Man pleads guilty to LSD charge [CHEYENNE]

A North Carolina man has pleaded guilty in federal court in Wyoming to a charge of conspiracy to distribute LSD.

Wallace E. Burke, 28, of Durham, N.C., pleaded guilty on Monday. He faces a prison sentence of from 10 years to life in federal prison when sentenced later.

According to court records, a confidential source told federal investigators the source saw Burke at the Rainbow Family gathering in Wyoming this summer. The source reported that Burke said he expected to receive LSD at the post office in Boulder City.

Authorities say Burke mailed LSD to a post office box maintained by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration in Cheyenne this summer.
