Greg Oden, LOL

So Portland drafted him and before even playing a game for them he had to have major surgery on his legs and missed the whole season.

Yesterday is his NBA debut and he leaves the game in the second quarter with a fucked up leg and never returns.

And while he was in, he looked terrible.

Let me know how that works, Portland.

I don't believe Greg Ode is anywhere near 20.  He looks 50.

Even without following sports much, I thought that Portland was nuts to take him ahead of Durant. I watched 10 minutes of one of his games and he looked more beat up then half the guys in my town's masters b-ball league.



He's supposed to be what, 20? Really?? I mean, really??

There's no way. I'm round people who've banged the hardest stuff going for decades in inhuman amounts and don't look that old. Not to mention he moves like a 75 year old.

I feel bad for him. He really seems like a standup guy, which is rare in the NBA.

I agree 100%. Then you look at guys like JR Rider and Starbury and they couldn't get hurt if they got ran over by a dump truck.

I don't see why that was a bad move by Portland, unless you don't follow college basketball at all.

It's sad to see though, I hope he gets his shit together.

i feel bad that Oden is hurt again.  being in big 12 country, i got to see a lot of Kevin Durant.  that guy had serious game during his one year at texas.  even back then, it seemed like Durant was the much safer bet to be productive in the NBA.

I don't think it was a bad move, but it's a move that I wouldn't have made. Just looking at Oden made me, I know you can't teach 7 feet and all that, but when you looked at Oden at OSU and then looked at say, Amare Stoudamire, it just didn't add up. To me.

I hope he gets better and has a hall of fame career. Truly.

They drafted him because they needed a center. The blazers seem like they got a pretty solid team they are just young the lakers fucking spanked them and it was sad
