my masterpeice is still far from finished.

i've been working on a masterpeice song for about 2 years now.  its around 30 minutes long so far and if i ever finish it, it will probably be done with that.

instead of finishing it i just constantly play around and figure out what i'd like to add to it (but never take the time to actually sit down and quantify it to perfection).

anyways, here is a little i was playing around with tonight, enjoy.

they're both cool...
but my ear just kept anticipating the arrival of some drums and bass, and for it to pick up and really take off. maybe it does that in another part?

nah, no drums, i've got some synthetic string basslines i use throughout.

moar

this is close to the end, and i left the melody changes out because i haven't sequenced them yet.  its just bringing instruments in.

I'm trying to capture the feeling of winter.  this is where its starts changing into spring.
