ambient is great for studying... aphex twin, boards of canada, solar fields, carbon based lifeforms... all are nice to play while trying to focus.

Do you listen to music while studying or not? :thumbup: :thumbdown:

When I was in college, I had to have music on. Chill music, ambient, minimal techno. Something playing to keep my brain waves moving.

Speaking of college. I've been thinking of going back...this is the weird thing I want to study criminal justice. But I don't know what field in CJ i'd want to get into. Forensic studies is cool, but too much math for me.

My roommate just got in to college.  He was originally rejected, but then started going to some classes anyways (the ones where professors are ok with it if you just sit in) and I think the teachers were so impressed by his enthusiasm that when he applied again they let him in.

its good to go back to college.  I am in college to complete a goal and not specifically to get a job. 

I think the mindset of too much math for me is already sending a bad tone towards going back to college.  If you need to work on your math skills then just do it.  Try to look at the positives in things...  If you want to be someone who does forensic studies, you can do it. 

I realized something over the past few years, it is that humans can do anything they want if they have the will for it.

Just something about the industry fascinates me, although it could be my subconscious speaking, and wanting the inside info. I dunno.
