You think I havn't spent the past 16 fucking years trying to overcome this shit myself!  Man I'm fucked in the head - I admit it.  I was born this way - I was a shy child I have something wrong with me.

I tried to tackle it mentally by throwing myself into every situation.  I still failed.  I am susceptible to mind loops that I have extreme difficulty breaking.

Your speaking as if you were me but you have no idea of the battle I've been through with anxiety and depression.  OK get your fuckin violins out - nobody gives a shit right?  We've all had it bad!  I know.  That doesn't stop it from happening though does it.  I don't have direct control over some of my brain functions - I am a collective of my lifes experiences.  I've tried hypnotherapy, I've learnt as much as I possibly can about these things....

Ego Death, it is probably sweet for now but in years from now when you want to become a happy person without the aid of drugs everyday you might just regret ever starting.

There are ways to get rid of anxiety and depression other than pills. Exercise real fucking hard one day and tell me it doesn't help.

I do a 25 mile bike ride once a week and the buzz is great!

True.

I've always been good at controlling addiction though.  I let myself get completely hooked on MJ.  I decided to stop and haven't touched it since.  Same with my sis she got hooked on phet, decided to stop and that was it.  My family are good like that - we know when it becomes pointless and we don't fuck ourselves.

If I want to stop, I will.

I'm not even addicted yet!  I'm enjoying the positive effects of 2 weeks of experimentation.

Addiction IMO is everyday.

I tend to be the same way.

Be carefull though dude xanax is far more addicting than MJ.

It's basically alcohol in powder form similar addiction and similar withdrawals from what I understand.

Not to mention the fact I now have a load of valium which I'm yet to sample...:evil:

Fuck it though.  I've been addicted to some very addicting things and quit them and would never touch them again simple because of their addicting potential or negative effects.  Despite what people say I found weed withdrawal (after many years of daily abuse) to last several weeks but I still stuck at it.  I haven't smoked in almost 2 years now, even though my stoner friends have it in my face all the time.

We all control ourselves, we only have ourselves to blame.  I don't intend on losing sight of reality or at least what everyday reality presents itself to be.

Whats xanax withdrawal like then?

I spose you get the anxiety hit you hard and the desire to dose is strong?

Someone mentioned fits and death.  I'd imagine you'd have to be hitting 10+ mg a day for that though?  At least I hope so!

I wouldn't make a habit of it, even if you do use just enough to take care of anxiety.

I used to take it for that reason too, I would never take enough to fuck me up, barely enough to even feel it really, I would take the smallest amount that would help with my anxiety.  I still built a tolerance quickly, and I still suffered intensely from the withdrawals.

I rarely got fucked up on it, yet I still cannot remember atleast 3 months of my life.  And I'm not exaggerating either, I really CAN NOT remember hardly anything that happened during that time, I remember a few things, the rest of my memory is what I have gathered from other people.  I've met people recently that I apparently hung out with quite a few times then and it's like I'm meeting them for the first time.

You won't think it's messing with your memory that much now, but trust me, it IS fucking with it more than you know.

Half my country is hooked on alcohol, I know shit loads of alcoholics 100x worse than me.  I don't know 1 thats had a siezure.  For sure - it happens no doubt but chances are not that high for low use.

Its alot worse than weed, atleast for me.  Theres several years where I can't remember some smaller things, just the major stuff, because I was always stoned, but I still have a vague outline of what happened during that time, even if the events get mixed up on my "memory timeline"

But with xanax, theres barely anything at all.  I forgot small things, and I forgot big things.  I can deal with what weed did to my memory, but I am fucking pissed off at myself for letting xanax erase those months of my life.

I'm an honest person. I'm not here to play mind games or make sarcastic comments.

I literally meant what I said - thats all. :confused:

I know withdrawals can come but I'm planning on limiting my use so that its not an everyday thing.  Hopefully twice a week won't get me too hooked although it may do.  Time will tell.
