Weird Blowgun Dude

About two weeks ago I moved into a new apartment.  It's in an area populated almost entirely by students.  The weekend after the move I had a couple friends visiting.  While we were walking down the sidewalk we saw a shirtless old man sitting on his stoop loading a blowgun and otherwise just watching us.  We thought it was weird, but pretty much just wrote it off.

About two days ago I was walking past his house and he was in his yard with the blowgun, loading it up.  This time I actually got a good look at it, and this thing would probably go up to my shoulder if it was standing up and I'm 6'3.  He put the dart in, turned and looked pointedly at me, turned back and fired into a mattress against his house, then looked back at me.  I wanted to start a conversation about blowguns cause I like shooting them myself, but instead I gave no indication I had noticed and just kept walking.

I think he's out for blood, probably a hapless frat guy's blood, which I wouldn't mind seeing.  It's pretty fucking weird.

Damn I didn't think of it like that.  Though when he looked at me it seemed to be in an aggressive manner rather than anything else.  If he shoots me I'll just consider it an icebreaker cause I've always wondered what it would be like to be shot by a blowgun.  Unless it's in the face, then I'm getting mine and it'll be on.
