Donating blood

I'm going to donate blood, mostly because I want the free pint of ice cream. My question: Is it really that much easier/more fun to get drunk and for how long?

Yeah, it doesn't take as much booze and you just get drunk quicker.  Personally, I'd suggest eating something if you're gonna drink after donating.

Well I'm going to be drinking a bunch tomorrow at trivia, probably not today. It's probably too long after donating to really matter. We cheated last time and got a $50 credit at the restaurant.

No, I lived in England during the whole Mad Cow fiasco.  I don't have mad cow disease, but in the US they won't take blood from anybody that lived there within a certain range of dates.

Yeah. They asked a lot of questions, and most of them were about gay sex and Africa.
