afoaf has some 58 quart steralite containers that are only about 12in high he was considering growing cambodians,CREEPER's and MAZATAPEC mushies. will he have enough room for them to grow to maturity?? also should he get an air pump that is rated for the size of the container (about 15 gallons) or should he just buy the bigest air pump he can afford?? every thing can be found it the FAQ'S but those simple questons...god bless the FAQ'S......one other thing is the alien substrate tek a good beginer tek or should he try the pf tek first and work his way up....

Go with the PF Tek. The sterlite container sounds fine.

At this stage of the game, wouldn't you rather invest your time and money into a proven TEK that when followed guarantees success? With the PF cakes, you will have many options to explore. Fruit some as is, crumble some in a pan to case, use a crumbed cake to spawn a bulk substrate, etc. I recommend taking the PF route for your first run.

Good luck.
