i have it all sorted out, but am just dreading goin to the laundromat...

half the machines don't work, there are little kids runnign around, and everyone else looks liek they don't want to be there either...

i fuckin hate that place...but it is soooo close and there are no others nearby enough for me to go to...as if it would be any different...

well just buy a washer. even if you have a small apartment they have those little washers they hook right up to your kitchen sink. then just hang your clothes up to dry. in the long run you save money buying it. at what gas prices are, how many trips to the laundry mat does it take in gas money and quarters for the machine to just have your own in your place.just a thought. i absolutely hate the laundry mat so years ago i went the route with the kitchen sink washer. will never go to the mat ever again.

i just threw it in and came home...the doors lock on the washers so i figure no one can fuck with my stuff...

i think i found my new time to do it...sunday nights seem to be dead...

folding them when they are all hot gets my head hot...

just needed to vent i guess...pretty much went over there after i posted this...

I'll have to look for that little washer...

I fucking hate when you leave laundry going at the laundrymat only to come back and find that someone has taken your laundry out of the washer/dryer to put theirs in... especially when there are other free machines!!!! I hate people touching my shit anyway.

My friend and I used to go together so we wouldn't be alone and have to dodge the white-trash mothers and their six kids running around like wild animals!

Fuck laundrymats, a washer and dryer is essential. I wouldn't move in somewhere without a refrigerator, why would anyone do so without a washer and dryer?


Apartment essentials
Utilities included
Washer and dryer
Up to date kitchen
Pool
Gym
Free internet and cable
NO roam towing, or large speed bumps
Screened in porch
Lots of trees and other plants

I wont move into any apartment that doesnt include all of that.

I'd rather pay the extra money and go to a dry cleaner to get some random jacket done and use their overpriced washer/dryer bit in the corner than deal with the stereotypical laundromat environment.

It's hot, half the people are drunk (and all know each other), kids running everywhere with snot on their face dropping their ice cream cones and shit everywhere and mothers screaming in foreign languages and bitchslapping the kid, the quarter machine being broken and the woman at the counter "Wutchooz thinks *I'z* gonz do bout it? MmmmHmmm!" *snap snap, snap*

Not all of us can afford apartments that come with a washer and dryer and complex laundry rooms can be just as bad as the laundrymat!

BTW before you buy a little portable washer, check with your landlords/leasing office if you can use the portable washers... some places wont let you.

damn man put that bitch in her place already. can't take shit from a woman especially when it concerns the clothes on your back lol.

i've got a laundry room in my dorm but there's only one washer/dryer so everyone's always fighting about it. you pretty much have to stand there and guard your clothes or they're going to end up on the floor. next time it happens i'm thinking about putting a whole bottle of nasty perfume in their load or something to get back.

that happened to me...came down while they were putting their shit in...

i walk over and feel my clothes, and say 'these are still wet...get your shit out of my dryer'

then i made him put my shit back in the dryer that he took out...i must have looked really pissed cause they left the room after that...

although i did stay down there till it was done...

An apartment with a washer and dryer usually isnt any more expensive, its just a matter of looking around to find a place. Some complexes will have one or 2 apartments with them, and you just have to catch them on the right time.

I prefer to live places that are managed... not privately owened. There are certain legality issues better covered by such and security people too( at lest in the ones I've lived in). The only places with washer and dryers in my complex are the townhouses which run significantly more in price.... $1600 as opposed to $2500. For some people this isn't an issues of money but for me $900 a month more is a little hard to come by! Guess we can't all be special!
