Environmentally safe laundry detergents?

I'm hoping some people here know of/use environmentally friendly laundry detergents. I'm going to be living on an organic farm and need something that would be safe to pour into the soil/creek when done washing clothes (using a hand operated washer).

That first link was great, but they only deliver locally in S. Florida
the others have some good products but I'm going to keep comparing
thanks

Go buy some from Don Imus. I'm sure he'll need the support after being canned.

One of the best ones I've used

https://sunandearth.com/productdetailspage.aspx?Pid=3
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And this one's good too; it was even reviewed by Consumer Reports and it came out on top of a whole bunch of conventional ones.

I think the "Sun and Earth" one suds the best though--but this one's good, too (and it's available scentless--"free and clear")
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I've used the oxygen bleach from Bi-O-Kleen (they have detergent, but I haven't seen it in my local store)

I have a question, maybe someone here will know the answer. Detergents are supposed to be harmful because of phosphates, but gardeners use phosphate for fertilizer, particularly to promote flower growth. Are they different phosphates? That's always bugged me.

I like Seventh Generation's Free & Clear formula.
I've recommended it here before. It's cleared up my skin.
