jim thome is a beast.  he's kinda like the silent assassin, too.  you never hear a whole lot about him, but holy shit he has raw fuckin power.  i've seen many of his homeruns leave the park fuckin quick.  line drive homeruns are sweeeeeeet.

It was quite a shot indeed. Not the farthest though. Joe Borchard hit one against the Phillies in August 2004 that went over 500 feet. I remember that one vividly to this day. USe your mlb tv to look up the archive of that shot if it will let you go back that far. It was August 30, 2004.

Jesus Christ that guy still plays?  I swear I saw him play live in Cleveland 10 years ago and he looked older than all the other guys even back then :lol:
