the idea I was hinting at would involve somehow combining the 2 or making Gaming Grotto a subforum of what is the current sports forum

Personally I think the connection between sports and videogames is rather tenuous. I mean they're both forms of (sometimes) competitive recreation, and there are professional gaming leagues now, but I can't imagine that the users and threads in the two forums would have much in common.

BTW I pulled "Gaming Grotto" out of my ass solely for the alliteration, if anyone has a better suggestion feel free to speak up.
