favorite non recreational drug

this can include herbal stuff, non "fda approved stuff" that does work.

diphenhydramine is sort of recreational (benadryl) at non high doses because it makes you nice and sleepy which is a nice feeling.

does anyone take anything that seems to make their life better, but doesnt really so much "make you high"?

I enjoy ibuprofin, aleve, advil and tylenol.  I don't use them recrationally but god damn they're life savers when you've got a hangover, especially mixed with a bowl.

advil is ibuprofen, it just has a candy coating on it and is more spensive.

i always buy store brand stuff, in most cases to include food, and otc stuff is always exactly the same when it comes to drugs.

coaster..... mescaline and ayahuasca (two different recreational drugs) are quite literally the opposite of what i am talking about.

i meant stuff that isnt recreational that helps you in life.

i take benzos, but never to get high, just to relieve anxiety (although no prescription)

Ibuprofen is a miracle drug for me.  Aspirin and acetaminophen never did (and still don't do) jack shit for me.  My Dad started getting perscription ibuprofen (before it was over-the-counter) in the early 80s and I tried them for pain...absolutely a wonder drug!!  Nowadays I rely on them whenever I have any type of pain.  From a toothache to a sprained-ankle to a hanover, they set me right in no time.

Also, when I hit my late 30s heartburn became an issue at times.  Zantac 150 has been a lifesaver at times.

Diphen and Dimenhydranate for sleep ease...  What a feeling to be pulled down into your dreams like that.

Coffee - Woudn't quite call it recreational myself...  More functional.  The good stuff tastes great and get you going to your day.
